Little Orchard Lofts is a new company based in Hope Bagot, near Ludlow. They offer a unique addition to any wedding day, which is also a fantastic photo opportunity for your guests. After completing the ceremony, a dove (or pair) is released as part of the celebration. The doves is a symbol of peace and love, and releasing the bird is a perfect way of expressing the love you feel for your partner on this special day and sealing your romantic union.

How does this work?
Craig from Little Orchard Lofts will work with you to arrange the launch of the doves at the church or venue. The basket with the dove inside is placed on a table in front of the couple, so all of your guests can see the event; all you have to do is is undo a bow and the dove will fly free.

The release of the dove is an amazing photo opportunity for guests and your wedding photographer. It's a good idea to have the dove released early in the wedding portfolio shots as it's an effective ice breaker for yourselves and the photographer – a quirky shot to get everyone talking, then relax for the more formal shots which follow.

Natural beauty
Doves have an innate navigation system. When released, they circle around the area above your guests several times to get their bearings then make their way back to Hope Bagot. This is a natural experience for them as they would work the same way in the wild.
